MWO seems to have something of a boxer's problem, its so much better to be at the top of a weight class than at the bottom of another. All of the mechs that don't see much play, like the Dragon, Cicada, and Awesome are in this awkward place.

So here's my suggestion. For some part of the time, have these mechs paired against something in the lower weight class. Maybe the Awesome took some diuretics before the weigh in . But not having to live with the fact that an Awesome possibly brings an Atlas on the other team, or a Dragon has a Illya Muromets going after his hide, could make them much more attractive rides.
