Oh come on, early Teddy is awesomeness! The mustache is simply additional proof. Apparently he was some type of 3025 hipster. His father didn't approve, though. Later on, I feel he became a little too Mary Sue-ish and contibuted to the eventual pussification of House Kurita. Oh well.

Ah yes. The moustache image. Heh, it's even mentioned in Heir to the Dragon when Theodore is in command of the Legion of Vega (an assignment given to him as punishment, really, by Takashi as the Legion was where the DCMS shipped its misfits, screwups, criminals, ne'er-do-wells and anyone out of favor with the powers that be. While fighting Lyran invaders (if memory serves) it is mentioned that he no longer has the moustache and that he's uncertain if the style is even in fashion in the more civilized parts of the Combine anymore.

So at the time that photo was taken of the coordinator's heir that moustache was, apparently, the height of fashion.

You're now free to imagine hordes of young mechwarriors sporting the same style of facial hair.

Katrina Steiner looks like some kind of crazy grandma Dracula in her picture from one of the House books. Wish I hadn't lost it in my HD crash.

I can't believe that a bunch of honorable DCMS pilots let themselves be dishonored by a lyran. Then again, that was back in the 80s, and the characters have changed much since then.

What, are you saying that our glorious Emperor, Heir to the Star League, and Coordinator of all the Draconis Combine doesnt bear a striking resemblence to Torshiro Mufune in Yojimbo? Shame!
