Then just think how much fun you'll have when the game ages up to the LBX-20. "Hey! Wasn't there a Raven there a minute ago?"

Loved my LBX raven before ECM came out... After too many streaks to compete against as a light vs other lights... With ecm on a cada... Could be good times.

Flexible little shotgun monkey with a good backup armament and ECM. It's like an anorexic Flame with a PBAoE head cold. I like it. It's going on my list of Things to Do When the ******* Dragon is Done. It'll take a murderous while given how dismayingly expensive the 3M is to snag on top of yet another XL engine...but hey! I'll have a spare 320XL sitting around after I get this done! Maybe I'll throw it in my 1N or something, or make this jerk share a 245 with my RVN-2X I refuse to give up on.

Minus 1 ML to add 1 extra box of shotgun ammo also works really well. Don't really see the need to put up a separate Smurfy build for that minor change.

But for what deduct a medium laser while you can add Ferro-Fibrous Armor and lower armor on arms by 4?Check my previous post.

Awesome if you're sure you'll never want large lasers again, or if you don't generally change configurations on your 'Mechs once you get them where they were meant to go. Expensive if you decide later on that you want to rip the FF back off and turn it into a laser scooter. Folks who like to swap their stuff around a lot generally avoid ferro-fibrous even if a particular configuration of their machine can make use of it, because some of the other configurations they use can't. They'd rather be a little less optimized in the one configuration than give up entirely on being able to use their other preferred set-ups.

Just bumping because this build is still rock solid. New screenshot for it.

Thanks for this.... I'll have to try it out when I get my 3M.
One question.... I know the Stalker 5S comes with an XL255, but are there any other mechs at do as well?

I've built something this this before, during my raven stint. I did not like what it ended up being with LBX (engine limitations being the problem, should have a 250 engine max). I ended up with a UAC5 and that worked better for me...
In any case, I have a cic and raven version of the same build type...
RVN-4X
CDA-3M
The cic is simply slower, despite having ECM. The Raven is slightly faster... and I truly wish for a 250 engine on these slower Ravens for various reasons.
Edit: The best use of LBX when you are behind your enemy is to strip them as much as you can. It was glorious when I did use them.
