*All mechs have their base cost, and all of the weapons / equipment have their own costs.
So as an idea, would it be too difficult, while during the searching process for the game to try to build two groups of similar tonnage (+ or - 25 tons or so) to also try to match the teams to around a 5 to 10 million C-bill difference?
It would be a help to newer players potentially and might even help mix up the roster of mechs / loadouts used.

nice idea, but only because a pice of equipment is expensive it means its dangerous. Therefore there is a battlevalue in TT, not quite sure you can translate it in MWO, but would be a start.
Other thing is, they announced they introduce "soon" a kind of playervalue, a ranking system, which should show how "skilled" you are, to make the matches more fair. (skilled against skilled / newbe vs newbe)
