Ctf-3D: Dual Ac/10 Worth It?

I just got the CTF-3D.
Currently I'm running a loadout with 2LL, 2ML and 2 LBX10-AC with 2 tons of ammo and XL 280 Engine.
I'm pretty happy with that so far but the thought struck my mind to switch the LBX10-AC's for AC10's and remove two DHS for that change.
Should I try that? Or are the LBX10-AC's fine?

If you're willing to get an XL 300: [Link to Build]
Uses 100% of the slots, AMS ammo in head and M.Las arm (barely damages on explosion)

After trying every combo under the sun, the one I finally found that "clicked" was turning it into a poor man's Ilya (2 UAC5s, 4 MLs with endo, XL340 and 15 DHS). The jamming can get on your nerves - but it'll burn targets down in a heartbeat...

Lemme give you a hint. A Large Laser fires for one second and has a 3-second cooldown, making it 4 seconds for a whole cycle. A 3D has four energy hardpoints, along with Jumpjets.
Also, to OP: 2LL with 12 DHS? HAHAHAHAHA

It's called heat management.
I run a CDA 3M with 3 LL to large success aswell as a Dragon 1C with 4 LL also with good success. Sure it's hard to keep rolling out that damage constantly, but thanks to the netcode fixes I am most of the time able to make those shots count hitting the same spot for the whole beam duration.
I now made the changes I asked about and run 2LL, 2 AC 10 and 2 ML with just the 10 DHS that are in the Engine.
Works awesomely well.

Been there, done that... 4 LLs was pretty underwhelming in my opinion. It's versatile, but lacking in terms of stopping power. 2xUAC5 + 4xML will cut a target down in literally half the time. And if you REALLY want to see stuff melt - try the 1X with a pair of PPCs on the right arm, a UAC5 and 3 MLs. Absolutely brutal

LBX10 in arm slot should be more be useful in close-range brawl with faster mechs when you don't have comfortable time to aim, for example attacking these annoying lights.
Weapon groups - 1 lasers in arms,2 lasers in shoulders,3 LBX,4 AC10.
In close brawl, you'd use lasers and LBX,occasionally AC10.On longer ranges,AC10 with shoulder lasers,if able arm-mounted ones as well.

If players dont like being shot by dual AC20 at 200m chances are they wont like being shot by this at 700m

Hmm. Usually I stay away from FOTM builds (and the jump sniping 3D clearly is one). Thus far I am quite succesful with the 2LL, 2ML, 2 AC/10. Especially the 2 AC/10 are extremely effective on parts that are stripped from armor already.

Poptart sniper pulled directly from MW4, good thing MWO has too much cover.
I have seen a few of these things, best used on Forest Colony. The gigantic stretch of water is a firing range.
