Guilds form, they grow, they shrink, and they either die or grow again - usually stronger than before (if members, officers, and leaders learn from the situation). Sometimes this happens because of poor leadership, other times it happens from poor membership. Usually it happens because of a multitude of factors from all sides until (finally) the straw that breaks the camel's back.
We all have our limited perspective and we go with what we know and how we see things. In this:
- You feel you are being treated unfairly.
- Others feel you have treated the unit/House unfairly.
It is all about perspective. In the end, we're probably all wrong. But sooner or later a decision has to be made. I'd rather suffer through a bad decision than no decision. (<--- Generalizing. I'm not saying this particular decision was bad or good.)
While your particular situation is a tough one, it's certainly not the end of the Capellan Confederation community.
