CTF-1X: XL335, 20DHS, 1xERPPC, 2xLL, 2xML
I didn't go for the largest XL only to save up another ton to add another DHS. The speed reduction is marginal comparing to the benefit. On an energy build every DHS is crucial. You ask why I choose to not load an AC20? Because honestly, my dual-GAUSS Ilya and quad-AC2 4X have really overdone their job as ballistic platforms. And I wanna go fast.
This thing is surprisingly fun. The side-torso energy hardpoints are the second highest weapon mounts other than Catapult K2's shoulder cannons (head lasers don't count), making the two LLas ideal peekaboo weapons (also when was the last time you see a Cataphract being headshotted?). The two ML grouped together is everyone's favorite CQB little dagger, and the ERPPC deals amazing all-range falcon-punch.

You turned a Cataphract into an up-engined Gallowglas. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I do know that it's certainly more interesting than the UAC15 Muromets and all the various non-Hero variants trying to be the UAC15 Muromets. I'm willing to back someone doing fun and unusual stuff with a tired old 'Mech.

I accidentally recreated a Clan 'Mech! Btw I know nothing about Battletech universe
Oh, and this thing kills light 'Mechs over mid-range so very very well.

I enjoy piloting either 1X or 3D with 4 LL's and XL340, pretty efficient as well.

3D with 18DHS, XL340 and 3xJJ is a miracle. Since as LL has a 4-second firing cycle, when you chainfire the four LLas you're basically a constantly blowing LL that can jump.

The Gallowglas is an Inner Sphere 'Mech built after the Invasion to try and help stop the Clans, not a Clan 'Mech itself
Still, aside from the fact that you go faster than the 'Glas does, you've mimicked its configuration and general combat style pretty closely. Just sorta tickled my funnybone, that's all.
