Door Lights Still Too Hard To Read

Green and yellowish/orangish aren't distinguishable enough from each other.

Please make it Green and Red or just put a little picture that says DOOR OPEN and DOOR CLOSED.... like this:

Can we please just get rid of the doors? They have been nothing but problems and it's actually getting worse not better. I mean... where in the hell is the door light in that screen capture anyways?!

Just above the Dawn figurine. I think they're open.

Edit for relevance: OP is correct, door lights are a PITA as they stand. I'm not even sure where the Stalker one is and I've got one with full basics....

You see the big screen that says "DOOR OPEN"? If that's not obvious then the current ones need a microscope as they stand.

Btw, that's not how it is now... that's how someone suggested it should be: a decent sized screen that will say DOOR OPEN or DOOR CLOSED.

The door lights should be OFF when doors are closed.

...and ON when open. BRIGHT LIGHT MEAN DOOR OPEN. DUMMY NOW UNDERSTAND. UNGA BUNGA.

DOY...derp...and duh...

That SHOULD settle the problem. Permanently. :(

This solution is probably the easiest to implement.- and makes a lot of sense. The door issue is frustrating especially when trying to let off a massive barrage in a time sensitive shot.

I can be on-board with this... still, make the light brighter. PGI also needs to consider those with less than ideal vision and certain impairments like color blindness.

  • Open
  • Closed
  • Destroyed

Destroyed doors register as open (i.e., Light is ON).

If the light doesn't turn off when you try to close them...you don't have missile door flaps to close. That is, if you see a light, that means your missile bays are exposed.

No need to complicate simple matters.

Except they're hard as hell to see... period. Especially on the Catapult.
