With the new Large Pulse Laser heat improvements I am calling it now and saying that the new FOTM mechs will be anything boating LPLs especially the fast catapults (mine will be a k2) and the Stalkers with 6 of them.

Edit - good thing I have had a few weeks of practice in my Cicada with 2LPL and 3SL =D

meh

Tried LPL on my otherwise large laser builds.

Went back to large lasers after one match.

Well my cicada with 2LPL and 3SL seemed to work wonders on in my first match after the patch.

I really want to use them, since I like pulse lasers and the sound they make is awesome... but their weight puts me off

Well, I was doing a 4xLPL Stalker before this with reasonable effectiveness, so I'm excited to see how often I can fire those things now. I could look at putting two more on it, but I'll probably be unable to move.
