So, it has happened. You have passed from this life, left your mortal coil, you are no more. Yet, you cannot quite move on while your team still fights. You move from mech to mech watching the battle unfold feeling helpless in your disembodied state. I have good news my newly dead friend, you are not helpless. In this guide I will cover how to effectively communicate with the living and save your team from your fate.

1) While it may be tempting to move towards the light of another life avoid the temptation while your friends yet live. You can help them now in ways that no living mortal can.

2) By using sheer will power you will find that you can still push the Y key on your keyboard and broadcast your thoughts to your still living teammates.

3) In your disembodied state you can hover over the shoulders of different teammates by pushing what appear to be spectral arrow keys.

4) Using these combined powers you should switch quickly between your teammates and then use your manifestation powers to communicate the state of damage on the enemies your individual teammates are fighting to the rest of your team. Some examples of things you may want to say are

"Alpha is cored."
"The DDC in B6 has a weak back, flank him."
"There's an ECM ____ at F7."
"Teammate X at location Y has a weakened CT, move to assist."
"Target the legs of Beta, the LL has been weakened"
"Gamma is a splatcat, cut the ears off at range."
"X targets at Y location, pull back and regroup Teammate!"
"Flee teammate! Gather the remaining resources and flee! Do not let our sacrifices be in vain."

5) Once you communicate the useful information from one of your teammates mechs hover over a different teammate's shoulder and do the same.

6) Once your friends have either slaughtered your enemy or joined you in the afterlife move towards the light and rest. The next life will be war filled as well.

I hope this brief guide will help you make your visit to the other side a productive and pleasant experience. Now, time for me to move on.

7) Resist the urge to use your newfound powers for ebil or for vengeful purposes. Such as spamming the chat with expletives.

Give your last location and what mechs were in the area. Any useful information on the mech that you targeted last.

I kinda assume our pilot ejects and survives since I don't have to make a new one each game :)

In that case, dead mechs have no comms. :)

This, 1000 times this. I always make a point of cycling through remaining teammates, and giving information that I have that they could use. Relaying enemy contacts for people, pointing out damaged parts on mechs, or even calling for help for a guy. Having the right information spread to your team can sometimes win you a game.

Was it not Obi-wan that once said "If you strike me down, I'll run and tell on you to all my teammates"

Just dont be the guy telling me to unzoom. I was zoomed for a reason.

I'm not dead yet! I'm no Clanner; I just ejected.
Hey, I heard there was a BFG5000 inside that nearby building. Going to run over there, find it, and take out a mech to help the team.

Oh, and while I'm at it, I'll give my teammates any information that may assist them.

On the other hand if you have ejected and I am still fighting, I value your comments. Even after playing this game for several months, I fully admit I still get tunnel vision and can miss important information in front of me while I try to put a finishing blow to that Hunchback. If it makes more sense for me to run and cap, feel free to tell me. If the Atlas is almost cored, but I'm shooting at a barely scratched catapult, tell me. I can't guarantee I'll do exactly what you say, but I will take your suggestion into account.
