but any type of landscape could be used to this type of use.

but it would also be awesome to have a desert map with sink holes
that heavier mechs could get stuck in, while a lighter mech would have no problem passing.

I would however like some of the terrestrial maps to not have Earth vegetation, but rather, some form of "alien" vegetation.......

- Deep Cavern (possibly combined with "Mining Colony" concept by having the caverns be mines for some sort of magnetic ore that would interfere with the (still planned?) MagScan sensors)
- Red Planet (could be modified by being a "hot Mars" rather than a kinda-cold one)
- Metropolis (because more urban maps are needed)
- Marshes (possibly combined with the "Jungle Outpost" concept, could be made hot and foggy to interfere with visual and thermal detection as well as Heat Sink efficiency)
- Redwood Forest (lots of obstacles and obstructions, and the perfect environment for something like a Firestarter...)
