Well, the AL does have ten launcher holes, so it should shoot 10 missiles at once, and more after the first salvo of ten, right?

Well, i am fiddling around with my AL and am trying LRMs on it.
I am not a fan of the huge launchers, but 5 and 10 works for me.

So, i installed two lrm10s. I was all prepared to set them to chainfire, because they couldn't launch at a time anyway, right?
Turns out i was wrong, i can happily fire 20 rockets at once :S

Or am i missing something there?

It will? Can anyone else confirm?

I loved mastering my Hunchbacks and I'm looking at the Centurion for my next medium mech.... and one of the things I was concerned about is how the missiles will stagger.

Though I wasn't looking at an LRM build... but the typical 3 SRM6/2 MLAS zombie brawler.
However, I was worried that 3 SRM6s wouldn't come out at the same time.

I don't think it's intended but the missile tubes count for each individual weapon, not your TOTAL weapons. So if you try to fire an LRM 20 out of that Centurion you'd get 2 volleys of 10 missiles, but if you fire 2 LRM 10s it fires 20 missiles all at once. The Jenner-D has 4 missile tubes, but fire 2 SRM4s and you get an 8 missile volley. Every mech is this way as far as I know. Pretty sure it's a bug they just haven't had time to work on.

Heh, sorry... yeah, I was referring to the CN9-A for my 3 SRM6 zombie brawler. It still only comes with 10 tubers, I believe.

Yes. It works this way for every mech, except for those which share missile hardpoints with multiple tube launchers (like the 5M which has both a 6 slot and a 1 slot within its left torso). I believe those will assign launchers based on slotting order. Ordering in the mechlab becomes important for these rare instances.

Ya too bad you can't slot things how you want. I tried so many ways to get an LRM20 to shoot out of the 1 slot and an SRM6 to shoot out of the 6 slot. The game will not let you do it, :-(

This is what irritates me in this game. You can literally place two weapons on top of each other, which makes no sense.
