Don't you think that by making it even easier to spot trail mechs, you make it easier for the other team to know who to target first?

Now maybe if there was a way to let your teammates know, but not the other team...

bright pink & purple with a giant red and white bullseye on their chest and back would be most fitting I believe.

Not sure it'd be very nice to torture new players more than they already are in this game... ;)
