I think it's from running it at a high resolution, as my other computers show it much more zoomed in. Not sure though, as I haven't looked to see if there is any way to zoom in.

BTW, I am finding that the garish bright colors make me target #1, regardless of what mech I am running. I had a orange/green/purple hunchie that got chased PAST our 2 Atlases and a Stalker. I just ran around shooting and our big boys tore the other side up for ignoring them. In a way, it was a weird tactic to make me less effective, but the team more so.

I may have died a lot last night, but boy did I look good doing it!

cl_fov changes not only the in-game cockpit view but also the angle in the mechlab to pull back a bit
