For those of you still stuck at work or are bored and want to check out some of the new features I threw together a full gameplay video which includes some of the new features included in the patch. I forgot to try and show off the new override/shutdown feature though, sorry.

Are you doing anything non-standard in .cfg files to get the graphics you have? If so, share?

Oh, and my FPS went up by about 10 frames.

FPS up, better performance, the whole details got "sharper" somehow, generally visually the game improved a lot! Just the small changes in tint to the enemy and friendly units make a difference somehow,
Loving the pre-match / end match chat and overview, I'd say this with the new paint system is really a huge step forwards and helps a lot to give the game a more well rounded look. Bravo!

Jump jet ascent speed doesn't look half bad. Hm.
Nice job, and I like your mech (including the 'handicap machine gun').

Typically if I'm focusing a target I will but in that game I didn't make it a priority because I was spreading damage around so much, most of them were already arrowed from being targeted or unable to be targeted due to ECM, or at ranges where trying to focus an area down is too difficult (If I was running hot I would have picked my shots more carefully).
But yeah, I should probably try and target more.

Thanks! Yeah it's a fun build.
And I think the new jump jets are awesome. Maybe even TOO awesome, from a balance standpoint.

Eep! No!
Don't dare to say that until they give us the ability to adjust laterally. Especially if you have jets in your legs, you ought to be able to move a couple meters left, right, forward, or backward relative to the raw ballistic trajectory.
Even though collision still isn't in the game, I'm going to keep practicing my DFAs, hoping that eventually they'll make it easier to adjust my aim.
