I love the Warhammer as far as the IS goes. That thing can kick your a** at pretty much any range if you know what you are doing. The Awesome would also be fun to use. Raining PPC's on people's heads like it is your job.

Bushwacker. LBX-20 and twin SRM6's obviously.

Retcon Battletech and put it in 3049 so I can play with it. NOAW.

Yeah the classics; Warhammer, Wasp, ect... rock but I bet with all the red tape they steer clear or they fall short. Its a shame too. Zakatak what other 3025 designs do you dig?

Shadow Hawk. I like how it looks.

He's simply like Centurion, or Dragon, just a bit better and older.

Actually, while you're not going to get a Bushwhacker until after the Invasion starts, you could see an experimental one as early as 3051. It wasn't put into full production until 3053 though and then only the BSW-X1 variant.

Does anyone know the list of mechs that are available in the timeline of the game?

If they even exist in the game's timeline, a thor or a loki would be nice.

Catapult is a beauty. Sorta like the Apache Longbow, but on the ground.
Warhammer is cool, but I am afraid Harmony Gold gummed that one up.
Archer is the chariot of heroes.
Wolfhound is 3028, but close enough.
Puma  Hey, the Clans didn't make it until 3010 so it does count, right?

I've noticed that timeline and Inner Sphere/Clan distinctions are tricky enough that we all make mistakes. Its easy to see how new folks might not know which mechs are available when.

Honestly, keeping things straight like that are such a PitA that I'm surprised that there hasn't been more confusion than what we've seen so far. There was, at one time, a push to organize an excel spreadsheet with all the available models known, with the availability year and extinction year listed if it was known. Then things like the manufacture date for the ZEU-6T Zeus (2407) came up and it clashed so badly with the rest of the canon timeline that the retcons began. Now it's hard as hell to find a solid date but if you do, it's as solid as a rock.

Valkyrie - Great armor for a light 'mech, agile enough for what it does, weapons loadout should translate nicely into MWO.
Shadow Hawk - A very good well-rounded 'mech, it is the model of what a medium 'mech should be, jack-of-all-trades but master of none.
Archer - Great heavy support/command 'mech, piloted by Jaime Wolf
Awesome - The name is the reason. The heavy weight boxer of the early BTech universe.

Uziel: like the one in the MW4 intro
Kodiak
Highlander
Vulture: like the one in the MW4 intro also
Mauller
Masakari
Thanatos
Cougar

The Vulture and the MadDog look like two ENTIRELY different mechs!!!
The Kodiak and the Highlander need to look like they do in MW4 Mercs
Same with the MadCat and the TimberWolf, they are different mechs!!! They look nothing alike!!!!
I don't know what year that these mechs were built but they NEED to be in the game!!! Lol

I hope you are not trolling and I just misunderstood you. :)

No problem with the fact just 2-3 mechs on your list can be made in this game (right now), but stating that Mad Cat is different than Timber Wolf... :(

Benefit of the doubt as to trolling or not. None of these mechs are available at launch if MW:O continues to be faithful to the timeline, which they have been so far.

I say that everyone starts with just enough C-Bills to buy a single Atlas and nothing else. Everyone starting with 10 million C-Bills sounds fine, no? Of course you probably wouldn't want to go with a stock Atlas right away, incase you have a crappy first match and end up having to sell your mech since you can't afford the repairs. I'll likely just get a Catapult and spend the rest on LRM ammo, extra hull plating, and fuzzy dice.
