Stormwolf, I noticed that the Blood Kite is not listed. As the MUL and Sarna both list it as having been introduced in 2907 and that it was detailed in TRO 3067, I figured it would have been around by the time of the invasion. However, the period listed is 2901-3049. Is this an indicator that it is extinct in the timeframe of MWO?

Well spotted, the mech is around, I added it to the list.

i need to see the updated graphics to see which ones i want to pilot. so mny have decent stats but crppy pics. clint, hermes II, hatchetman are at the top of my starter list atm.

The Starslayer STY-2C was a Star League model that is mostly found in SL era caches (the LAAF and some mercs field them). The only other faction that could field them would be Comstar, but I have yet to find any on any RAT's. So this model is rare at best.

The Starslayer STY-3C went into production in 3056, so it'll take a while for that one to show up.

Not having a Thanatos(my favorite chassi of old) already leaves me at a loss. Guess I'll just have to find a new niche and try to have fun anyway. Might play the Thor(Summoner) since it was my next in line.

as far as the confirmed mechs are concerned im kinda really liking the look of the catapult i reckon that or the raven will be my choices until they introduce some clan mechs in which case ill switch to my vulture

Hellhound (David White's MW:Mercs version). I want to get a feel for the relative speed and toughness of a medium mech in this new environment. If it's viable to play as something other than a walking fortress, so much the better.
A modified Loki or Thor might be a good start, too, although the Loki doesn't have a great reputation for Heavy vs. Heavy.

Actually, I'd be perfectly happy to spend my MWO career running around in an Uller womping people, but alas the clans have not yet invaded...
