Well Dorthy, I have played for close to 20 hours Sat/Sun and I have been seeing a cool trend. Steiners in bigger drops & Mariks in big drops and Kuritans in big drops, Even some Capellan drops... Don't remember a Davion drop. Like 5-6 Members of a house in a drop.

It is kinda like when we finally get the Houses up and running. Factions dropping together is what will eventually be happening, with a few Lone Wolves filling the gaps where needed. I kow how a lot of you feel, but I for one was impressed that the House affiliated players were dropping together so often. :D

.... I don't know why you are exactly happy, the only thing that means is premades were dropping and destroying pugs. Great first impression to new players as well.

A good example of house dropping can be seen in the move "the Wizard of Oz" pay special attention right before they get the ruby slippers.

Wait. Why did you reference Dorothy before me. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE CLEVER.

You know, that might be entirely coincidence. Unless all 5-6 of them are on the same team, then it's still possibly a coincidence with a small chance of being a sync drop (and we all know how we feel about that).

I've seen every full single faction drop there is while doing 4-mans. Only lost to Kurita and Liao, FRR put up a good fight, the rest were meh. If i were to rank them from top to bottom Liao had the better pilots and Davion with the worst. But that's only my opinion based off the drops I've had.

Fair assumption the house players that are sync dropping/pub stomping are the house players who have been deamed sub par in the leet 8 man scene. It would follow that alot of houses, jsut arn't that good in the upper levels of competition. Funny part is, steam rolling the sheep doesnt exactly make for improving oneself to become more competitive in 8 mans. At least theyre having some fun though, right?

I hope this was happening in 8-man matches, otherwise it suggests there may be an increase in sync-drops.

The truth hurts. Did you choke on humble pie in 8 mans too? No wait let me guess. Its lame/boring bc ppl use X build/ Y strat.. and QQ magoo... yada yada right? It was a one day of premium drawing in new players kind of sea of noobery out there, and the semi-leets dined all weekend long.

Your pro, is inspiring.

odd.. when i'm out lone wolfing my cicadas i'm usually the last man standing with a lions share of the damage... House doesn't mean uber.. Skill does.

but of course after watching my pugs, house and loners, get their faces stomped match after match, I just quit really trying and give in to the pug grind of losses.

I, for one, hope that phase 1 of Community Warfare will just mean that you only drop with Lone Wolves, Mercs, and members of your faction (or one allied to it... Hi Steiner buddies!). Will be great to have FedCom teams taking on the barbarian hordes. And with so many Lone Wolves, it should be really easy on the matchmaker.

I don't want to be a Lone Wolf, I just don't want to belong to a Fedaration/Faction other than a Clan. The problem is, when/if Clans come into play... do I fight against another Clan with a House? Do I fight against my own Clan? Does the game have enough of each faction to even make it viable? Bleah... I'll just shoot everyone :D

I hear the cool kids are all in FRR, then gonna jump ship as soon as the Clanners show up.

Indeed. If you have any integrity or honor, you're better off being a Davion :D

You heard backwards. The cool kids are staying FRR, the rest are jumping ship for their silly clan for a life of indentured servitude and no snoo-snoo ever again.

Ignore him, he'll stay & continue to play no matter how much he whines.
When he goes silent, then we'll be aware that something actually be wrong.
Besides, sync dropping be rare/ nonexistent.

Those who be in an already coordinated 4 man drop already has the advantage and doesn't need to add 4 MOAR of their teammates. Also those that do need the advantage of having an 8 man premade against pubs to win would already be mediocre/terrible to begin with.

Even though I've never done it, I think House Dropping is pretty cool. . . I can't wait until true faction wars start.
