The way the game works, it does not release your mech until the game instance is over. So you might as well just sit in the post game lobby and chat because you are not going to have other options until the mech is released (unless yo swap mechs)
To me that is not really that annoying. For me the only annoying part is the 'shutdown' time period after the last kill. It used to be 2-3 seconds, it feels like >5 now (although I have not timed it)

Also I don't like that the "Launch" button is active even if the mech you have selected is still unavailable. It's the small things in life, ya know?

Finally, the missing items / bugged mechlab from earlier versions of the game is explained! With the longer extraction times, PGI are able to lift Mechs back into orbit at more controllable and sub-luminal speeds, which minimizes the risk of chunks of equipment simply being lobbed off into the dark void of the Mechl-- err, I mean space

Clever response aside, I hope you guys got this.
Shiny new end screen/post game chat = nice and slick.
Mech locked upto 70 seconds after you leave the game = why? Why is this happening to me?!

well, with the amount of maps we currently have right now, we would be better off if we just waited until night.
