Seems like I'm waiting forever for my mech to become available after exiting the end game screen. Why is that and can it be eliminated soon please? :(

Because people wanted some time to talk after the match. I know, right? :(

^

The way the game works, it does not release your mech until the game instance is over. So you might as well just sit in the post game lobby and chat because you are not going to have other options until the mech is released (unless yo swap mechs)

To me that is not really that annoying. For me the only annoying part is the 'shutdown' time period after the last kill. It used to be 2-3 seconds, it feels like >5 now (although I have not timed it)

You cannot play in the same mech until all players from the previous game have left that game instance. At max, it will take you 70 seconds from when the last mech dies. (10 seconds until End of Round Screen, 60 seconds until End of Round screen auto-exits client from game instance)

That's what I figured, but really? Why does my mech need to be tied up while someone else is checking out their score or chatting with their BFF? Seems like they could make it so our mechs are released once the game has ended.

Also I don't like that the "Launch" button is active even if the mech you have selected is still unavailable. It's the small things in life, ya know? :(

This is irritating, why do we have to wait for a bunch of slow readers to play a new match?

You try lifting 100T from the surface of a planet to a dropship in orbit. Let's see how long it takes you.

Finally, the missing items / bugged mechlab from earlier versions of the game is explained! With the longer extraction times, PGI are able to lift Mechs back into orbit at more controllable and sub-luminal speeds, which minimizes the risk of chunks of equipment simply being lobbed off into the dark void of the Mechl-- err, I mean space :(

Clever response aside, I hope you guys got this.

Shiny new end screen/post game chat = nice and slick.
Mech locked upto 70 seconds after you leave the game = why? Why is this happening to me?!

Lame excuse for what feels like sloppy design.

well, with the amount of maps we currently have right now, we would be better off if we just waited until night.

burn.

I'm sure the afk botters hate it which means I love it.
