Now ...I am not saying this is an absolute cure for the problem ,it is however what I found with my system. I was consistently getting the low frame rate bug every sixth match up until this past Thursday evening . In perpetration for this latest ( 2-5-2013 ) patch I elected to do a clean re-instalation of MWO last Friday morning, Deleted the game,ran my registery cleaner,defraged my hard drive and re-installed MWO. I have not seen the bug since, going on 50 or so matches. It does appear at this point that the low frame rate bug IN MY CASE was system related.

Your system did not change. If a clean install fixes that bug it`s a proof that the patcher can corrupt the game.
