(Edit to say: I half expect a nerf to PC Gamer Black. It's just too good of a substitute for the 1000 MC Obsidian Black. My eyes can't tell the difference between the two.)

I can't get a decent screenshot though, as for some reason my camera starts waaaayyy back zoomed out from him. As in, his feet are at the same level as the colour filters. On most of these screenshots it looks like the feet are supposed to be on the level of the Total costs etc.

Have you messed with your field of view settings? I'm figuring that that's it, but I could be wrong.

That would be your FOV settings. If you want to grab a screenshot, just remove them quick then put them back in when you start playing again. As for my dragon...

They are very close. However, the Obsidian Black is very slightly darker and shinier, while the PC Gamer Black looks like it's picked up a small amount of dust.

Considering I have next to zero painting talent I never really got into Classic Battletech because I knew my mechs would never look nearly as awesome as the ones on CamoSpecs, but when Mechwarrior: Dark Age came out with prepainted minis I jumped at it and spent at least a couple thousand dollars on it over the course of the game's existence. That said, I enjoy the idea of paying tribute to some of my favorite factions from the game.

First up: A Raven painted in the colors of Clan Wolf when they were released in the Wolf Strike expansion.


A Bannson's Raiders Cataphract.


And finally a Centurion painted up in my own personal colors.
