No, Paige, the OP clearly appears, correctly or not, to be someone asking if they need to lie to get into the beta if they are under 18. I and many others saw through the posters thinly veiled question, and you shouldn't feel bad for asking an innocent question that seems related to a post on these open forums.

I have to disagree. I didn't see any evidence of this being a "veil"- It's quite possible for people to fudge a button mistakenly put in the wrong birth date.

Jun: Chillaxing is in order, I think. I don't think anybody is trying to "troll bait" you. There is just a possibly mistaken perception about the thread.

You are not a dev, you don't determine who gets in or how. Which is why i asked for people to be patient and wait for an official response instead of just speculating endlessly about under 18s, co-signing, and all that stuff.

Helmer : no problem, i fully understand it is the weekend and we can wait for the devs to respond when they are ready. On the topic of the beta profile, i just find it strange that you can't see it after you submit it.

Robby : That's an interesting idea, but i'm pretty sure there's no option to delete a profile...i don't see one at least.

Yes mistakes happen, but this is pretty obviously not one of them just by reading the OP. Then when you take into account the OP's additional posts in this thread, and the hostile stance he took to differing opinions, it becomes even more crystal clear.

Placing someone on an "ignore list" for trying to reason with you is the equivalent of plugging your ears and screaming "lalalalala"....

Also, side bar note, is there even an ignore feature on these forums?

I guess i'm just not seeing what is so difficult about grasping the concept that you have to be 18 to sign a legal document. They want a NDA, which means you cannot sign it, which in turn, means you cannot participate until open beta.

Seeing as your asking if the devs will screen the birthdays inputed the answer is most likely yes due to having to sign the NDA. Be it input you inputed your birthday incorrectly like u stated 2011 or correctly and under age the chances of getting a beta invite is zero. Seeing as u might have put your birth year as 2011 out of excitement the best suggestion is to either make a new account or just wait till open beta. The NDA is what matters, if the NDA asked for the age of someone when being signed anybody can just lie about it so why bother send a invite to people have stated that they are already underage.
