Just submitted an app on SJR. You guys sound like the kind of group that I would want to spend my beloved gaming hours with. I am on the unofficial TS server whenever I am playing the game and I am thoroughly enjoying the community chatter, but would love to get some more consistency with the same group.

Plus, I own a pet Bengal (the cat, not the tiger), so you could say I'm already half way there as a cat daddy!

There are two vital prerequisites to joining SJR:

Just a little update for the potential applicants out there;

We in SJR have recently decided to tighten up our recruitment practices. Applications will be reviewed with a critical eye, and weak applications will be discarded without any discussion with the applicant.

This is a high-class, high-level team and we will pursue only applications which reflect that quality. If you do decide to apply to SJR, make sure your application truly reflects your quality - because that's how we will be judging it.

And to quote Suno from above, "If you submit a bad app ... you're gonna have a bad time."

We are recruiting for both our US and EU divisions. We are currently active in (and well.. running) the Run Hot or Die league so if you are interested in a very active competitive team, then take a look at our site, and if you decide you are interested, take the next step and apply.

Our North American division practices 5 days a week, from 9-11 PM EST (many get together and play at other times too). We are looking to expand those hours soon to be more friendly to our members on the west coast. If you're looking for a highly competitive team with a great community, friendly people, and a well-established team culture, you have found it.

We are different from most competitive teams; we don't permit ragers, negative nancies, or other toxic personalities. You'll never find a more laid back atmosphere from a more kick-*** team.

We've been a very active team starting very early in the beta. Our players have a great understanding of the game and where it's going.

We have an awesome group that plays regularly with competitive experience for our North American division (we also have a EU division, but that's a different thread). We are selective, but don't be discouraged! If you think you fit the bill, check the OP for more details.

SJR FTW. Like Suno said, we are a competitive team with competitive goals.

In fact, we are a figurehead team for the competitive community of MechWarrior Online - we founded and ran the first Closed Beta Tournament (Run Hot or Die CB Tournament, from which you may have seen videos of the finals) and have also founded and are running the Run Hot or Die League. We are as involved as the competitive scene as a team can possibly be.
