Stop.

Your not adding any constructive criticism. Your just bi*ching for the sake of bi*ching.

As a player I understand how others could be upset by some of the things released in previous patches and the current patch. However, its not life ending. The world still spins. Get over it. Most of the things in this current patch will be tweaked later on if its found that it needs tweaking. Post your criticism in a respectful way and you'll get heard. Posting e-rage topics that have absolutely zero point other than to let everyone know how p*ssed you are is just going to get overlooked or locked.

Either way, your not helping yourself or this community better the game. Your just acting like a child.

Grow up.

You've been a member since December. You don't have nearly the experience most of us do, with how things work, at PGI/IGP.

Best not raise your hand until you have all of the information. :)

I've been a member since this site went live and I have been on board with mechwarrior and battletech since 1998. I'm not complaining, you shouldn't be either. And unless you are a game developer yourself you have absolutely no right to march about pretending you know how pgi works.

<snicker> Since you were 4yrs old? B)

Don't really think you have the cajones to be telling adults what they should or should not be doing. :)

Duration of time is not the point. The point is the amount of threads that are nothing but anger without a clear purpose or suggestion as to how things could be better. Its understandable to be upset but there is a clear and precise way to get your point across without insulting the Devs and the game.

Regardless of how long the game has been in development, one always has the choice to take a break. No one is forcing someone to play if they are so upset about how things are turning out. Filing some e-rage topic doesn't get things done. It just shows how small minded they are by a lack of intelligent discussion.

Is someone posting e-rage topics today? Hadn't really noticed. It may just be that I skim over the more ludicrous topic titles.

Ah, all the paint-cost rage?

Yeah, I just avoid those threads.

Since you're acting more like a child than I am, i will make something abundantly clear for you.

Mechwarrior 2, Mechwarrior 3, Mechwarrior 4 Vengance, Mechwarrior 4 Mercs, Mechassault, Mechassault 2, Mechassault Phantom War.

I have seen it ALL

I know what works, I know what doesn't.

As an aside.

1st year game development and entrepreneurship w/ a bachelor of information technology at 4 years at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. Unless you are game dev yourself, I already trump you in that respect.

Nope. Your missing TT, the original Mechwarrior PC game and Crescent Hawks Inception. So I'm three up on you. I also have a bachelors in electrical engineering and a degree in mechanical, am married with two kids a mortgage and a puppy.

Now enough of this shenanigans and let's go have a cold refreshing glass of Yohoo.

Edit: I forgot about the original Playstation Mechwarrior game. But then everyone seems to I suppose.

You are both aware that if you continue this, people will hand out rulers? ;)

Nah, I was just pointing out that everyone has a background they feel gives credence to their point of view.

That and I really do want a Yohoo. Mmmm

Btw, anyone else notice how many people posting on this board are software developers?

More like magnifying glasses.

Everyone is a doctor of nuclear physics and at least 7 other sciences on the internet, didn't you know?

That stuff is good.

I've worked in IT all my life, but I'm no programmer. I've programmed software, but I still wouldn't say I'm a programmer. I dabbled in HTML (lulz), SQL, PHP, C++ (but never C), compiled linux kernels from scratch over mindless summer days in high school, but I know jack-**** about programming a game as complex as MWO, and I admit it.

You got a question about microwave internet... I could probably answer that ;)

Oh, and I have a doctorate in nuclear physics.

I was denied my doctorate in nuclear physics when I took my thesis on the Three Shakes Theory in the wrong direction.
