Dare I ask what the best response to 8 light mechs turning up in my base is? I swear I never any real concept of what 16 med lasers would look like when directed at may face before today. My only comfort lies in the fact I still have some vodka left.

Were you in an 8man? If not, then all of your team were light mechs as well, which doesn't happen...

Honestly I likely have misjudged the numbers in retrospect. I was rattling around fairly hard. It felt like there were 8 light mechs trying to remove my face.

Lol I've been there, I know how you feel. 2 good RVN's can make it seem like there are many more. Best bet in that situation is to put your back against a wall and use your torso twist to minimize damage until you can bring them down.

We had that once in an 8-Man. Was on the first day of 8-Man, one of our first games. We were a mixed team of every weight-class and they got 8 lights; mostly ecm-ravens and jenners.

Hard to concentrate fire in that scirmish I'll tell you. No calling out because of ECM. We just shot at everything we got in front of our weapons. I laughed the whole time and found it funny, even as we were loosing. We all thought "How do we reac to to this?". The final fight was my LRM-Atlas DDC sporting a Large Pulse against a Jenner. Thanx to lagshield I didn't hit that often and over the course of a few minutes he destroyed my legs. Was funny anyways as all my teammates where cheering me on

I have run into 4+ lights with multi ecm while pugging. i know how you feel.
my response is to stop moving and let them kill me. why prolong the inevitable.
4 lights+ TS are more powerful than 4 assaults in a pug, as it was intended.

lolz, normally went something like all lights or all atlas's its normally a 8 man group who are sync dropping in 4's.
nothing you can do but laugh and watch the explosions

Think the concept of 8 Ravens is bad? Just wait until see 12 in April. That's a terrifying thought.

Ahh, sort of happy I'm not the only one to have suffered like this. Fortunately I won't be dealing with the light swarms alone. Getting some friend into MW:O and it will be great. Once we've all got the controls down that is.

Yeah a pack of lights are about the most ridiculous thing you can run into, I always find it to be the perfect time for a toilet break
