I have found the Kintaro Golden Boy makes a perfect Lyran Royal Guard colour scheme

What are the best colors for a Lyran Guards paint job?

There's got to be something better than this:

You're right, that is pretty far from a Lyran Guards, but you very nearly have a good Arcturan Guards scheme :)

I always use a blue and yellow scheme to represent the Federated Commonwealth.

I've found that with most mechs Applejack is the best overall for the Skye Rangers. Do Red-Black-Green (just like the Spider cockpit item!) and you got yourself Skye Rangers red body, black arms and green stripes.

Also for the 1st Skye Jaegers Applejack with Blue-White-Black or Blue-White-Blue I guess produces that nice blue and white checkerboard.

I made a thread Oct. 10th about this... both of my Spiders look like the Spider Statue (which I have in each one)

http://mwomercs.com/...-spider-statue/

Copy and pasted from that thread here :

MY SPIDER LOOKS LIKE THE SPIDER STATUE

Closest I could come up with.... I just used colors I had already unlocked, ect

Here's my Fed-Com based Steiner paint jobs.

These are the Colors I use to represent the factions of the Federated Commonweatlh:
Colbalt(Blue)-Steiner
Sulphur(Yellow)-Davion

Hunchback

Thunderbolt

Commando

This is the scheme that I put on all my Project Phoenix mechs.
Posted Image

Since I'm a Marik hater, I use Edo(purple) as an accent color to show my feud designation with them. I'll probably use this scheme once Community Warfare debuts.

Thank you, it's more like a remembrance of the Federated Commonwealth's unity instead of a parade color. Like blue represents Melissa and Katrina Steiner of the Lyran Commonwealth, while yellow represents Hanse Davion of the Federated Suns. Those were the people who helped make the Fed-Com empire and thats was the style I was trying to capture.

It is a scheme worn by the Fed Com RCT units, though it was blue and gold.

If you use the Raider Skin pattern with Cobalt and Titanium White, you'll have a good Lyran Guard Scheme.

That Steiner paint job that pbiggz posted was the 17th Skye Rangers. They use golden highlights on their mechs.
