Hi.

Can someone explain me what is going on with my Dragon 1C?

It's standard weaponry is:
1 AC2
1 LRM 10
2 Medium Lasers.

I added 2 more Medium Lasers and an anti-missle system to it. One laser on the left torso and other on the left arm, wich were the places with energy hardpoints available.

So i have 1 balistic, 1 missle and 4 energy weapons.

I'm getting this error message: Invalid loadout - Hardpoint limitation.
I just don't get it.

What could be wrong?

Investigating. Gimme maybe 10 minutes to edit this with an answer for ya.

Found it or at least got the same error message. Currently there seems to be a minor bug in saving a load-out and then editing it again. This may not be the same way you created the bug but it is the same result. There is a delay that is supposed to allow the server the time it needs to update. It's not updating fast enough if I was able to replicate the same issue. When I looked at it again, it said I had 5 lasers when there are only 4 energy hard-points. It did only showed in the mechlab after opening load-out. It did not show on the display that your snapshot depicts.

Try it again. Check for extra weapons that should not be there. Save and see if that has helped.

Let me know if this has helped.

I guess you're trying to put the weapon in the wrong parts of your mech? If you click on every upper body part in mechlab at the top it tells you what hardpoint that mechpart has, as in 2 energy means you can put 2 lasers, 1 ballistic you can only put one ballistic weapon there etc.

You're missing heatsinks is my guess.. the mechlab doesn't show you a count in loadout, you have to save it and look at it in the general mech lab tab (where weapons/counts are listed).

Everyone should know by now that you can NOT put the wrong weapon type into a slot, ever, period. The loadout screen won't let you, period. You can NOT drag an AMS to an arm that does not have an AMS hardpoint.. you don't even get the OPTION of putting energy weapons in places that don't have energy hardpoints, and once you burn up all the available hardpoints, the list of available weapons stays red (can't use).

Odds are, it's a missing heatsink. That's the ONLY thing (other than missing engine) that I've seen that you can "save", then be blocked from launching a mech.

If it was heat sinks, it would tell him. It's saying the hard-points are wrong. This usually happens on the glitch I mentioned, or if you try to edit the max hard-points client side. Since he asked about it, clearly it's not the latter.

The screenshot shows 12 heatsinks mounted. If it were 9 then that would be an obvious issue.

well, it didn't work just waiting for the server to refresh, neither when i took out one of the lasers and replaced it by a heat dissipator.

It worked when i took the AMS from my arm and and placed it on the torso.
I guess next time i'll buy a side-shield xD

Thanks for helping me anyway guys!

Color me completely wrong. I've never been able to place something in the wrong slot.. not sure how you can manage it, but clearly it can be done.. good thing it verifies loadouts when you try to launch.
