I had bought the Phranken mech pattern for my Awesome a few weeks ago, and have been on a long break due to burning out on the game,I came back today to find my Awesome had been repainted green, what gives?? Why was my pattern reset and now it costs triple what I paid for it?

the colors are 4x more expensive yea. But as soon as you kit 4 mechs out with the same colors as before, it works out the same, but they are reusable even after that for potentially dozens of mechs, and you can swap them about in the 3 channels/ change and it not cost you every time. As someone who has lots of mechs, I've already painted 12 or more mechs in the same small collection of colors.

The patterns are a really cheap if you don't care about ever changing it. but expensive if you think you will want to swap the patterns or want to collect them for some reason.

Remove the colors from your selection, and buy a one-time use of the pattern...

use PC gamer colours for the phranken.. I bit the bullet and bought the titanium white though for the bones.

It becomes much more expensive for one mech. But painting multiple becomes much cheaper.
