I was wondering if anybody had some insight for me, on how to set my in-game graphic settings to get good/optimal visibility in the game?

E.g. for long range, beside activating thermal visual.

I do not know about the idividual sliders, i run everything on high and see the enemy leaving their spawn on river and forrest.

What you can do though is disable "Depth of Field" because mechs get blurred out by it way to early.

For some people its enough to put "r_DepthOfField = 0" in theri user.cfg. Not for me

I had to download the files from here http://mwomercs.com/...sys-spec-files/
This is my user.cfg (doesnt work with an empty one and just the dof command)

Spoiler

Additionaly you might want to use SweetFX to sharpen the textures ingame and/or play with color filters. Someone made a video about setting it up.

2 screenies i took a while ago to show people that its really worth it:

Even the small pictures of the mechs in the bays in the lower bar look 100x better...its even cooler ingame.

Heres some files to clean up the overall look of the game.

I think you need to set Environment to High (in advanced settings) to get the maximum draw distance for mechs (very high gives you more draw distance for buildings and props but no additional draw distance for mechs)
