I posted it with an explanation at Patch Feedback so here its just the poll.

I dont feel like i am at a big disadvantage due to it...but things pile upp this way. when you already have lower framerates this adds to the pile of things leaving you with even more problems to deal with.

And yes i know some will say...buy a new PC etc etc. It will happen soon for me...but some might not be able to and everything not related to fps that giving them even more disadvantages isnt right and maybe its pretty easy fixable.

Like adding 5-10seconds more time before the round starts, or if you see the cockpit like you are shutdown instead the starting up animation why not be able to check the roster instead?

Besides that...i hope people with loww end PCs will take part in the poll and explain their own opinions and not others telling them to buy a better PC.

Um. What? I have a low end PC and this last patch has been a blanket improvement for me. Even before this patch it wasn't exactly a long time to load into a match..

I have a horrible computer that runs this game at 10-20fps on the lowest settings, and I'm nearly last to load every time. This is not a problem.

Didn't see the roster of what your team is driving? Do like everyone did pre-patch and look around. Nothing ever happens in the first minute of a match anyways. To me, this seems like ridiculously unjustified whine. The last thing we need is a longer delay before the match starts.

It would be kinda cool to have it toggleable. But I don't know how much useful stuff is on it. Never seen it. :-(

i am not talking about frames ingame...and when playing conquest mode each second can count...as i had enough games where like 5 seconds made the difference!

and its not a whine...i am pointing out things that some might find that are an disadvantage.

if you dont think so and are fine with it its ofc reasonabale and up to you...but tactics wise its an disadvantage, not much at assault game mode but for conquest.

Defrag your HDD or clear space... If you have some POS laptop with 5400rpm... and a dual core well you're going to be slow regardless.

my HD is defragmented...its 7.200rpm....and yes its an old amd 5200 dual core with only 3gb ram and i know its not really enough...but i can play reasonable between 10-30 fps. mostly i think its my CPU and my ram causing the slow loading.

its not an major issue...but since i near always play conquest with my friends i felt its an disadvantage that can be fixed easily.

I have a great computer and I have seen no performance changes over the previous few patches... the one thing that still causes FPS issues are the particle effects from the LB x10 and SRM boats. I do feel low FPS is a major disadvantage, but it all comes down to just upgrading your PC for the games that are being released. My rig is now 2 years old (damn feels like yesterday I built it) and is still maxes almost every game that comes out with the exception of Cryengine 3 based games. Running an i5-2500k and GTX 560 Ti.

I had to do a reinstall of MWO due to crash issues and my settings defaulted to medium despite me being on high previously, felt no FPS change, same particle density issue causing drops.

Now when I play on my laptop that runs around 20-35 fps, all my shots feel slow and delayed compared to running between 40 and 60 on my desktop. I find myself with only about half the damage I typically get while running at 40-60fps.

its really not about fps...i can still deal dmg above 1k if its a good game even with a low framerate...and no not an srm 6 boat or any boat.

for me actually last patch removed screen freezes i git at caustic valley so its gotten better.

honestly, i don´t know what this poll is about... even with my old pc (the one i had until november) i was always one of the first to be in the match... ( that was an amd dualcore with 4gb ram and an awesome gf9500gt 512mb)...

and the last 2 patches gave me + 15 fps average, and even the fps drops seem a bit better since tuesday...
so all in all i am satisfied, as long as they keep working on it and eleminate the fps drops completely :D

From what I understand, he's complaining it take too long to load into game, he misses the infoscreen and the startup animations.

I used to run on a (quite nice) 2007 vintage computer, and even then, being the last one to load in, I never failed to load in before the countdown was over.
Now I have upgraded said computer and I am one of the first to load into each game.

So in other words, it's something you're going to have to live with due to being in a bad computer.

If it makes you feel better, even in my fast computer I typically miss the pre-startup mech listings and have to take a second or two after the match starts to look it over and decide what to do, it's not that big a deal.

Missing the startup sequence. No big deal.

Missing the information screen. Press TAB once in play, it has all the same information.

As a sniper, it can be a minor problem due to the building hitboxes being kinda weird. But the game always prioritizes loading the enemie mechs before anything else. So its never a problem on that front.
