Module Questions - Unlocking, Transferring Etc.

Hi there,
I haven't been able to find an answer searching for "module" in the first few threads so I hope others know more on this topic.
I'm wondering about module unlocking - I have a few installed on one of my mechs, but I also have questions about their transferability and saleability.
In short,
1) can I move a module to a different mech?
2) can I sell the module?
3) If I sell a mech with a module, am I refunded for 50% of the module cost?

1) yes.
for the rest you have to wait for someone else to answer, I didn't try 2 or 3 yet, and am not going to.

I was concerned the module might blink out of existence of something if I removed it from a mech so wanted to get feedback before trying it. Thanks again.

Yes you can remove them, and yes, you can sell them- Make sure you remove modules from your mechs before selling them!

The reason you never sell modules is that they are so expensive to begin with, and if you sell you never get all that money back. Keep all modules so that you can have a variety of mechs equipped with the modules. Modules can be moved just like other components. The only limitaion is the number of module slots, which is why I work to gain mastery in whatever mech I want to keep.

I have searched for but have not seen the option to sell back modules in the mech bay.
Can anyone confirm or deny this?

you only sell them when you sell the mech carrying it.
I made the mistake an sold 2 of them...

That said though, I have to wholeheartedly disagree with your never sell anything policy, for example, I had at one point 44 single heatsinks in my mechlab... why the eff would I not sell 24 of those as surplus that I will never touch again? Any single heatsink build is unlikely to use more than 20x heatsinks.
Anyway, you're 99% correct on the never sell anything unless you have to idea, but for single heatsinks I think it's safe to do spring cleaning from time to time. You end up with a mountain of them since the single heatsinks in the mech are retained as your own surplus when you switch to doubles.
