Greetings fellow BETA Testers!

I alterd my build on the WANG: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...589673117c1f09d

The Netcode fix, ballistic tweak made this one very viable.

You need to use the shield arm. Twist a lot, don't brawl but raid, preying on heavys and assaults from behind.

So. Funny.

2x ACU5 125
2x ML
XL 255
10 DHS
90.2 KMH

Constantly doing between 400 - 900 damage a match.

This thing is just awesome!

What are you builds on your heros?

I have that exact same config on a Hunchback, just no XL so it only goes 75kph or so. But I prefer to use the Wang as it was intended, for mounting an AC20 on that arm while travelling 99kph :)

I love my double PPC & AC10 Ilya big time. The energy hardpoints are so nicely positioned. <3

For some reason, I get really good results with Fang. With scout-like speeds, impressive harassing/brawling potential, and good aesthetics, I find myself returning to this mech when all else fails.

DRG - FANG

2 x MPLAS
1 x MG (1 Ton Ammo)
1x LB 10-X AC (3 Tons Ammo)
1x SSRM/2 (1 Ton Ammo)

XL Engine 360 (Max 97.2 / 106.9 kph)

Oh...and the 30% C-Bill boost doesn't hurt, either. :)

Ilya all the way, I thought about the FLAME too, but besides allowing me to use an AC20 on a dragon I wouldn't end up with much different builds that I already do in a DRG 1C.. so I only went for the Ilya and happily stomp around with my AS7-D. For now I'm more than fine with them both.

I love my Wa...Yen-Lo-Wang I mean. :) Fast, durable (standard 250 engine). It's loadout may be simple, but that just means it's also very effective to use. It's also my only mech with an ac20 (despite having two Hunchbacks and two Centurions, YLW included) and I love this weapon.

The best scenes usually happen when an enemy is below me, either because he fled down a ridge in order to avoid my fire or because I got up and above him by my own chosing. Most mechs can lower their arm mounted lasers or small ballistic weapons, but I can lower my ac20 (or raise it if need be). That moment when you smash an ac20 bullet on top of the cockpit of your enemy...priceless. ;)
