This is why I switch mechs every match. I don't really worry about modules since I'm still saving GXP for the ones I actually want so it lets me get more play time into my busy schedule.

None of this is my problem because I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Therefore my mechs are always waiting for me at check out. or something

The problem with just playing a different mech is that those really expensive modules are on the mech that I just played with. I would rather not drop without my modules.

I suppose those of you who advise others to "Just drop in another mech" have two adv sensor range/base cap/360 targeting/target info gathering modules bought. Not to mention the expensive XL engines that certain mechs share.

Buy another module. Or play in a brawler and a separate LRM boat. They can use different modules.

When it takes longer for you to get your mech back than it took for the game to run (because you had morons on your team capping right away), there is a serious problem.

It used to be kind of understandable when you had to repair, but now that the repair system is gone, having your mech held in limbo is just dumb, and the delay is getting worse, not better. This last patch made it a lot worse.

Because sharing modules and XL engines between several mechs is realistic? You'll love Drop ship mode then...

I find this comment humorous because it points out the obviousness of the OP's intent.

I find this post humorous because it points out the obviousness of the obviousness, that was obvious to the rest of us! :P :P :)

I guess I'm doing it wrong. Am I in a minority by preferring to have each mech with it's own equipment?

I thought this thread was silly, cause just take a different mech. But if you use the same equipment, hmm. Stop being a cheap POS and buy more than one engine? Or stop whining because you choose not to?

I find it hilarimuch that people these days are so focussed on now, now, NOW!

If it is a bug, it'll probably get fixed - if it is intentional, then suck it up and deal with it...

Personally, I'm all for it - gives me a chance to chill and smoke a ciggie, or go make a cuppa, between matches...

'Oh but I want my uberepeenleetmech back straight away, I pay for virtual goods, why should I wait for it!!!'

:) sheesh.

well what i do is lvl 2 mechs at once, then you can simply alternate them and poof, no more waiting for your mechs to be out of match :)

Locking mechs was originally to prevent suicide farming, right quiaff?(not that it worked that well anyway) Now that the economy has been changed to promote performance and remove repair costs why are our mechs still locked out? PGI please take away this useless feature.
