The MLP FIM has Celestia raising the Sun and Luna raising the moon each day. The Pegasi are also depicted as directing the weather. These are astounding to the scientificly trained mind, steeped in the mysteries of rationalism and empiricism. The suspension of disbelief required to enjoy the show was a deal killer for many. Thanks to the refit and upgrade of the Hubble, we now have the evidence to set these qualms aside. Please enjoy this high resolution Horse Head Nebula picture.
