And when you were a kid, MLP was pretty bad. It was basically D&D (for a young audience) with ponies as somebody said earlier, but like every other cartoon show designed to sell toys, the characters had absolutely no depth to them.

And when I was a kid, we were into awesome shows like the Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, Two Stupid Dogs and tons of other brilliant and funny shows on Cartoon Network. And guess what? The creators of those shows I just listed went on to do other great shows, like the new MLP.

As the above states, if you watch an episode, and don't like it, nobody should be able to fault you. Granted, the more zealous and obnoxious in our ranks probably will, and all you do is ignore them, just like in any fandom.

Its not so much sacred ground as it is an agreement between PGI and a large part of their fanbase. We agree not to turn the entire forum purple, they agree not to pull a SA and blanket ban us all (loosing a big chunk of their merket). Darker Ponymeme is not allowed in the main thread, but as long as it doesn't violate the ToS for the forums I see no reason why there can't be a thread here in the double off topic for such posts. Heck, given the lack of proponants for trollfic to begin with this thread may just end up dieing on its own.

You can't have a "let there be trolls" thread because it violates the ToS for the forums, in the same way you can't have a "No Darkies Allowed" thread, you want to be a dick on the internet then GB2 4Chan.

p.s. No, you don't get points for the Highlander ref.

I meant the mod who despite detesting us ponyfolk was in here keeping the haters down so much his son caught ponyitis and he himself caught a bit of an infection off our wubstep and techno. Unless you meant BGC's Mason, then I must inform you it's an anime. You do rate above Mason Profit, which is a really great old Rockabilly band.

I know who Grimm is, (all masons know each other here) i misread that as Crysis, the video game, im pretty sure there was a Mason but could be wrong. lol i do that sometimes
