So how many Brony clans are their for MWO and which one should I join?

The two biggies right now are frequently seen here- Eridani Light Pony and the EQRG folks.

Right now, I'd say the ELP has more kudos in gameplay terms thanks to recent events, but as you can see the EQRG definitely is winning on the swag front. Dat Tara Strong signed poster...

Honeslty, this is the FIRST game in my entire history of PC gaming of over 15 years that I wanna actually work with people as a team, especially ones that have a appreciation for MLP. Any other details you can give me about the two clans? Are they called clans in this universe of Battletech or what?

I believe the correct definition is Merc unit. Clans or Clanner are referencing to something else entirely different in the BT/MW universe.

Err in general we are discouraged from going into the merits/demerits of the two Pony Loving Merc Corps here, something bout spams of pony themed recruitment posters clogging up the thread.

Hrm. That looks to be more of a thrusting weapon. Worf's bat'leth was more of a blocking/slashing/cutting-in-two weapon. But I suppose it does look similar to those hollow-centered knives they carried around..
