One thing is mind warfare, but this is against the rules. It is called trolling and people who perform it tend to not be liked by players and admins alike.

Then again, this IS the internet. I'm not sure there's much we can do. In fact, if we made daily visits to 4chan a requirement for the military, I'm pretty sure psychological warfare would be a thing of the past.

As much as I love the show and its fanbase, some definitely go overboard, and I think many fans don't realize that not everybody loves, or will love ponies. Sad part is, the fans that simply enjoy the show itself end up getting all the hate because of said pony spammers. I only hope that if any member of this forum does partake in those activities, that they are punished as an individual, and not everybody that's participating in this thread.

No moderator or staff member would punish an entire group for the actions of any one individual. People are dealt with as individuals not groups. It's 20% cooler that way.

I do not approve of ponyspam in this forum. When in a fan specific forum we are fans of the main subject first and ponies second, we must respect the topic of interest over spreading the Word of Blake love and friendship we are known for. When here I am a mech jock first. When in Megamech I am a hex monkey first. When on the CNR/R forums I am a Silencer first. I am here for the project first and foremost and everything else is secondary.

If there is any control over paint scheme and logos on our mechs you bet I will have a pony patch (along with a Mithril patch) on it, and I imagine that a pony hater will have as much fun teaming with me as someone who is sick of Firebomber teaming with Major Ozma Lee (also I will be saying, 'Its not a problem." with unerring frequency). What I will be no part of is flooding forums, match rooms, or comm channels with annoying asinine ponymeme.

I used to be a troll, and still do enjoy the culture, but I cannot abide by a social meme of peace and love being ruined by people who just want to see the candy colored world burn.

I also used to be a freelance Mechwarrior until I took an Arrow IV to the Lower Leg Actuator.
