Is there an actual difference to what was put into the show somewhere?

Actually, they literally put that animation into S1- Dragonshy has it, right down to the old cutie mark. It was used as the basis for a lot of the original runcycles, though they refined them later on.
It's notable as being the first animated pony (vs. stills) known to exist for MLP.

I have to be honest with you. This thread was the first thread I found on the forum.
Not a big surprise- this thread was the 97th thread in the forum! I personally forgot about this threads existence and such until now.
Just swinging by saying I'm impressed it's been 'alive' all these years...
