Being extremely critical, the color casting is nice, but a tad too much and the typography is rather poor.

Those things aside, the videography and music selections a gritty and exceptionally well done.

Aegis , I swear, if you start talking about Font selection and kerning I'm going to Ban you, you Typography Hipster ;)

Cheers

He posted his video here on the forums when he created It, It got lots of positive feedback.

But thanks for re-posting as I'm sure It's appreciated by the creator :D

Yeah, I felt that perhaps this was posted a while ago, but let's just say I "forgot" to use the search feature this once. His other videos are just as awesome, too. ('specially the parts with Awesomes ;))

Video maker is the Remnant's very own Celestial. Many of the mechs being filmed in there are various members. I myself was the Dragon pilot you see towards the later part of the video. Celestial gets those shots using a Commando max zoomed with his HUD turned off.

Check out the rest of that channel for his other videos. We're very proud to have such a creative guy in the Remnant (and yes, that video is stickied on our website ;) )!

Very good! More like this. But make them even more dark and even more sinister. More death and destruction ;)

Someone who knows those words knows EXACTLY what I'm talking about! BAN AWAY! For you and I are of a like mind!

Typography is a pretty hard thing to nail down well. If done as an overlay, it brings the user out of the experience. PGI uses simple text with their promos, but they bring it into the world by using a feature known as 3D environment mapping. This is a much more interactive process that makes the text seem like it's part of the world instead of an overlay.

Still, the videography in this piece was very well done; and it has an excellent musical score.

I don't know for sure, because I don't actually edit the videos, but it seems Celesital was using something like that in his newest video:

I do not absolutely hate anything that does not use the term "space poor" (because they are d-bags) and anyone who does not use comic sans.

Therefore I approve of this video.

On a side note, Microsoft is at fault for Comic Sans, they made it for MS Bob and made baby jesus cry.
