Without fail Ive had the 128 bytes of 0 on every patching, requiring a complete uninstall/redownload. What are the odds that this will continue with this new patch?

You should help yourself by reading the link in my signature. I know you shouldn't have to fix your installation, and that the .pak files shouldn't get corrupt, but if it saves a re-installation you win. Once you've got your .pak files OK, make a back-up, and you won't have to re-download them, until next path time of course.

This patch broke my .pak files ;) (again)

From the updater screen, when I hit play I now get the error "FRead did not read expected numbeer of byte from file, only 128 of 0 bytes read". Every thing was fine before the patch.

Received this error on launching. I saw the starting score board then it crashes. I tried it on every different graphics setting.

I got that error past patch. Odds are you have a corrupted file in game right now.

clean reinstall you best bet.

Amenophis try this goto to game folder. The File "textures.pak" move that file to your desktop, launch the game (do not go in to a match it will look ugly). The question is can you get to the mech bay now?

You have nothing to to fear about reinstalling, All your mechs C-Bills and MC are Server side, The ONLY thing lost maybe your weapon Groupings. I Play on two System, My Main Home PC (15-45Fps) and a Laptop (Edit screen rez of 640x480 due VERY low end graphic card of 12fps) all my mechs are on both of them.

Thanks. I did a reinstall and that got me running. Your right though I had to reset all my options, weapons grouping and all the keyboart and joystick settings I had made. I don't weant to do this every time there is an update. Thanks for the help.

Read the link in my signature, if you want to fix your .pak files without having to do a complete reinstall.

Starting to get this error since patch:

CryAnimation: CommandBuffer overflow!

With "Okay" for the button.

This happens after about an hour and half of playing consistantly.
