Oh yeah real peaceful what with the wars and skirmishes..I guess if we don't count the pirates blasting away parts of the periphery and blake knows what else it's a real peaceful decade..

I have the feeling this peace will hold for a long time. Yes, especially this year will be the most peacefull since the collaps of the old Star League.

Looks like it's gonna be a long, long time until I get some decent income. Peace sucks for mercenaries.

Peace is a relative term. The Wolf's Dragoons and the Kell Hounds are damn busy during this time.

The Clan invasions aren't NEARLY as brutal as the Succession Wars (especially 1 and 2) were.

I know a lot of people are impressed with the clans, but they're just not all that.

Compared to the 1st Succession War, the entire Clan invasion is still peaceful.

Pssh. The First Succession War resulted in more than a Trillion Human Deaths. Hundreds of WORLDs Died. The Clan invasion was a joke in comparison, and any of the Inner Sphere Houses at that time would have wiped the floor with the Clan invasion force.

Peace? As if. We all know it's only a matter of time before Hanse Davion launches another act of aggression against his peaceful neighbors, and his Lyran puppet state will of course help him, as usual. The man can't stop himself from starting wars, so I foresee plenty of employment opportunities for mercenaries. And whenever Davion's not stirring up trouble there's always Marik fighting itself and the Periphery being a nest of vipers and pirates who'll always need some serious firepower aimed in their direction. I don't think you're gonna starve any time soon.

Agreed. I'm pretty sure that everyone in the Inner Sphere isn't expecting this to last forever, especially now that we've heard rumors of Com Guard movement. Lone Wolves like myself tend to get stuck with the lower paying jobs during peaceful times, and all of that mech maintenance, repair, and drops add up. I'm expecting something to happen soon though. 50 regiments of war machines are moving, and I have a feeling it ain't for pirates.
