Because when I joined the open beta back in October, I wasn't expecting masterful performance from myself right off the bat and Anthony Weiner-stomping everyone in game. I wasn't looking for an [I WIN] button. I am just another guy out there, and I haven't played MW for 10 years prior to MWO. I was sure that I would be easily killed by those (at least) who were participating in the Closed Beta. I enjoyed the learning experience, realizing that this simple game actually has a lot of depth to it.

In short: I enjoyed the somewhat-steep learning curve and seeing myself get better every week. Steep learning curve is a mark of a sophisticated game.

Furthermore, I realized that this is a team-oriented game simply due to the basic mechanics of vehicle combat. After about two months, I also realized that pugs offer very shallow experience and found a group to play with.

The point of this post: Please, stop whining about 4-mans rolling you in the pug games and your inability to use highly specialized support builds (i.e. LRM boats) with random players on a pug. ECM whining is also pointless. We all know 3L is OP due to its "extra" E and M hardpoints, and we all also know that there should be in-game VOIP and pre-match lobby.

This game should not lower its standards because you get stomped into the ground every game in the pug by other people.

"I got mine, the rest of you can **** right off."

Gotcha champ.

I tell you what though, I and others will continue to post about whatever the hell we want, you can sit around stewing in your own impotent rage about what others post about on the forums, deal?

What are you talking about? Pugs were getting rolled since the start of the open beta. I remember in November my pug teams would win 1 out of 10-15 games, but I was fine with it (as long as my damage was showing up nicely). I didn't come to forum to cry about "premades," like some silly people do.

When I decided to win some damn games, I found a group. Easy-peasy.

LOL @ "impotent rage"

I couldn't care less what you post. I'm doing good on this end.

Just throwing my opinion out–the same way you do it, bud.

Most of my best games are pug matches, when I play in a group they just steal MY KILLS ;)

Yes because raging on forums demonstrates anything but impotence.

Unfortunately the whiners whine until things go their way, and they never learn anything (Except that the devs seem to listen to those who complain the most).

(Misplaced) Arrogance + Ignorance = Annoying Whiners.

I enjoy the posts that pretty much say "Wah, I have no friends so no one else should enjoy playing with people either" (Actually text is: I don't like going into teamspeak and none of my real life friends play MWO).

The only real advantage of Teamspeak is voice chat that should be implemented into the game but hasn't been yet. (That and hilarious comments and a good time). I usually can't PUG more than 2 rounds (not because of the "pre-mades stomping pugs", but the fact that it isn't fun unless I can joke with and talk to friends.

*And a note to anyone who says "Well if you are in a pre-made, you must suck too much to play 8v8." Unfortunately we rarely have 8 players on at one time who want to play MWO.*
