So as of 8:30 pm EST it is almost 50/50 yes for gravity and yes for only extreme gravity on the poll. It's not exactly how I expected it to go but that is actually quite cool.

If you're cutting up his grammar, please note that he used the correct verb, "affect", as in "to alter the state of". "Effect"-ing as a verb means to implement, as in "effecting change". If you're going to be a grammar SS officer you have to EARN your skull and bolts, buddy.

On topic, yes to gravity-based effects affecting our performance, if it can be implemented in a fashion that is interesting without being tedious or ridiculous.

Was referring to the thread title, which states EFFECT and should be AFFECT (and has now been changed). Was just a passing thought and didn't want to detract from the actual topic, hence the rest of it. I got my skulls and bolts, ta very muchly.

If such a feature as "gravity" was implemented then it must affect gameplay, doesn't it? If temperature affects heat, why gravity shouldn't affect movement/jumping? It definitely should. Otherwise Its implementation and placing its value on the match start screen simply doesn't make sence.
So I vote "Yes"

P.S. The degree of influence exerted by gravity on the movement shouldn't be too large, however.

I'd just have it effect jumpjet acceleration and falling.

On our current maps I think 1.2 gravity = 10% decrease in movement speed and jump length, 0.8 gravity - 10% increase would work. But, if the maps released in the future will have, let's say, 1.6 (or 0.4) gravity then 30% speed increase/decrease can be game-breaking. So the devs might think about some diminishing (or -0.2 grav=+5% speed etc).
