Failed Connection To Remote Server

Hi All,

So I've encountered a problem without any change to the game. I patched last night(Feb. 8 hotfix) and played for hours. Now this morning(Feb. 9) I try to start the game and just see the MWO logo hanging in the middle of my screen. After about 30 seconds an error message pops up saying that the patcher failed to connect to the Remote Server. Any ideas on why this would happen without my changing the game in any way?

perhaps packet loss or network congestion

May have some file corruption. If nothing else has worked re-install the game.
