Ok, and I certainly can see that to an extent. The fact to remember though, is that if those low ELO vets do get their scores up to, let's say 2000, and start encountering premades, which should exclusively dominate the high ELO ranks. If they get matched with teams/players above their ELO level, their ELO will only drop tiny amounts, as shown in my example...losing to a high ranked team only drops your ELO slightly, if at all. This prevents them from dropping back to newbie-land, but allows them to drop enough to start facing other experienced pilots and not premades consistenly.
So those vets will creep up to premade ELO territory, and likely lose, but they also have a shot to win as well, seeing as the individuals would all be pilots with wins and experience, lacking communication would still be an issue of course. Either way, I would expect to see less completely lopsided wins as we see now.
