No info, no money.

I don't want to sound like a ******, but I can't support a company if they won't support us.

That said, I am now hopeful there may be news.

I would wait until we get the answers before i buy anything.

But now they have kind of promised us info before they start to sell the founder packs.

Okay easy everyone.

I can say our Euro and other region players are fairly vast and important to us. We are working hard to get you your official answer before things go on sale Tuesday. Stay tuned we will give you an official response on the matter.

Again our goal is to support migration.

Well thats a better answer then i hoped for ;).

We'll be leaving the counting to you, Carl. ;)

Although I find "Again our goal is to support migration." already quite reassuring.

maybe they talked to the US gouvernment and we all get a greencard to play MWO in the US? might be easier than finding a partner in europe? whoooo knows... btw, canada is nice as well... :(

Here is your answer https://moonbreakers.com/Intro

If you play this game it is a multi player 3 map example of F2P games regions are segregated US West,US East,EU,Asia,South America,ETC
the problem is everyone is segregated and the servers only allow so many per region and it sucks because you really cant all play together.
I really hope MWO does not take this route for Mechwarrior.MoonBreakers is fun but it get old real fast as all it is one match after another for HE3 to upgrade useless ships.

Russ' tweet read,

"We also have some good news/clarifications coming for all #MechWarrior fans outside of North America as it pertains to the Founders program."

That's it, no more, no hidden messages and no updates since. Hopefully we'll hear something today.

Moonbreakers is awesome - although that may just be the amazing Australian MB gamers, who are a real tightnit group, given that there seems to only ever be one game going at any given time ;)

Having said that, I think you'll find that any online game will have similar region restrictions, because of the nature of the internet. If you and all your friends are in NA, and you are playing on an Australian server, you'll have a 200-300 ms lag. Us Aussie players won't mind, cos there'll be more people in the rotation, but you may not like the latency so much. Having region based servers means that people can play in large groups where they are in a perpetual community, and latency is not so much of an issue. I know any ANZ gamers out there would LOVE the opportunity to have an Aus/NZ server - even if it were only a small player base.

To stifle the rant a bit - servers have a lot to do with the money available, which has a direct correlation to the number of players in a game. Moonbreakers has smaller server limits because there are fewer players. MWO is a major PC release, and you won't feel the limitations of the servers, because the paying player base means our illustrious publishers can afford larger servers. Hopefully in many regions.

Maybe thats why they are selling the founders pack before announcing the EU/AUS servers, they are raising funds?

Hmhm, I not reading forum constantly so sorry if i miss something that was already discussed.
I've read faqs for operation:inception and one of them hinted that there will be separated euro founder's packs when euro servers will be started.
I want to paticipate in early beta but now i'm realy not sure. I don't want to pay twice.

Well yes if you take it like this it would be easy. But it would allso mean.

1: EU player cant take part in the early Access unless they are willing to mayhap pay twice when the EU server comes out
2: They dont pay, wait for the EU servers and are getting mad since those who bought the founder get all ther stuff transfered. While they waited and dient want to take the risk to pay twice.

in either case its not very nice to be left out in the cold without enough information to make a decision.
If they would tell us that you can get the EU founder stuff later one could still decide to buy both for the early access and Beta, but at leas they could choose and not be at the mercy of " mayhap picking the right thing"
