Has anyone else noticed that from the end of a match until your mech is ready to go again is taking a looong time. I have been piloting just my Atlas to verify this and found that it is taking any were from 21 to 30 seconds for the Mech to be ready. This is a lot longer than the 4 to 9 seconds it used to take for my Atlas to respawn (fully repaired and rearmed) ready. This definitely needs to be fixed.
Match Mech Time to respawn Seconds
1 Atlas 23
2 Atlas 26
3 Atlas 21
4 Atlas 21
5 Atlas 30
6 Atlas 27
7 Atlas 25
8 Atlas 29
9 Atlas 22
10 Atlas 27
Total 251 Max 30
Median 25.5
Min 21
Average 25.1
For a ten match period the average time for a single mech to be ready after the end of a match is 25.1 seconds. I did 1 match in a Jenner and it was ready in 9 seconds So my question is why the big discrepancy between the Assault and the light when the discrepancy wasn't there before the patch. If any one else wants to check the ready times for Heavies, Mediums, or Lights I would be interested in how fast they are getting ready status on them as well.

I suspect that the mech is not released until the end of game screen times out.

My own investigation into this has led me to believe that all mechs in a match are held until either the last person leaves the post game screen and returns to the mechlab, or the maximum time for that screen to be displayed runs its course and the game kicks those still viewing it out.

Still conjecture, though you can verify it for yourself quite easily in an 8 man game in which both sides are in out of game communication with each other.

buy a second identical chassis replete with modules and you can drop into a new battles with the "same" mech instantaneously

It has always been this way. Previously, everyone left right away because the end screen was such an information wasteland.

Now people like to chat and say 'gg', which add a few seconds before the server shuts down.

I actually did this with a light mech during the bonus weekend. Not all the modules mind you, but the ones I was not using on the other.

I tested this last night. My friend left the after match screen straight away and I stayed until his mech was available in his mechlab then left. It still took me the 20ish seconds to get my mech back. So it looks like it isn't just the longer end of round holding our mechs!

I have other chassis but previously mechs repaired and rearmed quicker. Now is this longer repair/rearm time a function of the new system, or is this a bug that is what i am trying to ascertain. If its a bug it needs to be fixed so Identifying whether it is or not is to the benefit of the game. In stead of being an *** hat come up with something more beneficial to say. "otherwise, respectfully, suck it up" adds nothing to this thread it just proves you are to stupid to figure out what the tread is about.
It doesn't seem to matter if you leave right away, or wait until the last to leave the match the times are still longer.
