I'm digging through all the info I can and I know plenty of you guys out there are too. I thought we could start a thread that we just post links or relevant info in as we find it. If you find some material out there that you think would help people interested in learning more about the FRR, put it in this thread. Some of the info that would be of real interest to some purist might be any source-books you find info in, any novels you find info in and any internet sites you find with FRR info. These first two have been used in a couple post, just thought I would centralize them. If people are finding enough information, I'll try to keep the guide up to date so we can use it as we run up to launch.

Background Information

The Kungsarme

Basic list of FRR Known Mechs
http://www.sarna.net...lic_BattleMechs

http://www.masteruni...info/MUL/Search (You can custom search based on timeline and region for all mechs, more comprehensive than Sarna, remember to look at DC and Lyran mechs of the same era)

http://www.solaris7....tgeneration.asp (Another sortable list with FRR mechs, thanks to Outlaw for pointing it out)

Sourcebooks
http://rpg.drivethru...=530_2160_0_0_0 (1999, OOP,)

Cheers.

I actually liked the FRR ...until I read what they did in 3103!

Still Thats over 50 years from now ... so I would 88 by then ...so I doubt i'll still be playing then.

That said ... Will we even be able to join FRR?

I honestly find this faction specific list to be a bit more complete, and it is an early implementation from one of the guys who is currently working on the MUL.

Sarna is very bad about the dates on the FRR/CGB merger. It was very much a gradual process with no definite beginning or end, however a good date to keep in mind would be 3070 when the Bears assaulted Tukayyid and liberated the remainder of the FRR from the Word of Blake occupation. Of course, considering a number of native KungsArmé units were used to support the Clan forces it is rather obvious that the merger really began with the Clan invasion in 3050.

Also, you need to remember that this is a true merger because the Rasalhague Dominion has a fully functional republic for a government with a very Clan military so the net result is actually much better for the FRR than its initial function as a buffer state supported by ComStar.
