still getting the black screen cmd prompt startup crash error sometimes its untested nvidia chip error help?

Just downloaded the latest Mechcommander Omnitech 304

And again !...still having the same black cmd screen popping up for a second then nothing

I am running Windows 7 64 bit....

is it possible to get omnitech working on a 64 bit, or is 32 bit it ?

wow !

all I did was add " /gosnojoystick " after my shortcut, and had it run in windows 7 mode, with admin on and it works !

Mechcommander Omnitech is just great. I have no problems running it cause im still on XP!! but i cant play MWO

The next Challenge that would make it King Awesome ! (no pun intended ) will multiplayer work with the latest version of Omnitech ? Especially LAN via IP Address ?

I've played this game many times. Love it. Hate to tell you this. It's not a multi player game. You control several Mechs at the same time. Enjoy the game, it's great. As far as free ware, I doubt it's free. Wish it were.

Its been free for many years now. I wish MWO was more like piloting a mech in the "living world" of mech commander.
Fuel tanks, industry, turret controls, power generators, tanks of all shapes and sizes all over the place. Maybe i expect too much.

I just tried to install MC2 on windows 10, and couldn't get it to work, does anyone have any ideas how to?

Question: how hard is it to find install.exe's of the full version of mech commander 2?

I have a full install.exe with the cut scenes and storyline elements the freeware veersion lacks and was thinking of uploading it.

Zeratul if you could throw that up, I'd love you forever. I just redownloaded today because I'm trying to get a friend into the universe and can only find the Microsoft version. Found this thread looking for the vids

If it's released into the public domain it's *not* illegal to reshare. An argument could be made that including missing assets from the public release is dubious in nature, but not resharing what's already there. I myself used to host a version of the MS release that simply got rid of all the additional editors, code, etc. Not everyone wants the clutter
