Please help, what might be wrong with me here?
When I need to chat, I type"y" or "t", the chat window and the typing box appear, I can type into the typing box ok, eg, i type "hello", then I press "enter", nothing happens. The "hello" just stay there until the chat window fade away, it dose not go to the chat window for others to see. I checked my key mapping, changed a different keyboard, still same.
Any help please?

I suggest contacting support by emailing them, cause no one else has that problem, maybe they can sort it out.

Make sure you're using the enter key near the normal keys.. I've found that enter on the keypad doesn't work for sending text in chat. Why those two enters aren't the same, I don't know.. perhaps it's a keyboard issue, but there you have it.

thanks for the reply. Since the patch, I can post chat before entering the game and after my mech get killed, but I still can not post the chat during the game because the enter key doesn't work during the game. I have made sure I have not signed my enter key for any function.

yes, at the top of the web page, there is a tab called "Support". Click on it and you'll see their support email address. Click on that and it'll open your email client so that you can email them about your problems. They are very good at getting back to you quickly.

In the keyboard mapping section of the client, where you can assign "Y" for team shat "T" for all chat etc etc. You can assign the key to "End Chat" it should be Enter by default (not np_enter, which is the ten key enter) You may have inadvertently reassigned the key. If all else fails try resetting the keyboard mapping to defaults.
